Pay in person at the Village Office
You can pay for Village services in person at the Village Office in the following ways:
- Personal or business cheque
- Money order
- Bank draft
All forms of payment should be payable to the Village of Lytton.
The Village Office is not set up to accept cash, credit cards, or debit cards at this time.
Pay online through your bank
You can pay taxes and utilities through your online banking system by setting the Village up as a payee.
Pay by e-transfer
The Village of Lytton accepts payment by Interac e-transfer to info@lytton.ca.
In the optional message section, include a note to specify what your payment is for. Include the roll number from your tax notice if applicable.
Call the Village Office at 250-455-2355 to discuss security questions and answers, if necessary. Do not email security answers or password information.
Pay by mail
You can send these forms of payment in the mail to the Village Office:

Pay with your mortgage (property tax only)
When you sign your mortgage agreement with a bank or other financial institution, you can arrange for your annual property taxes to be paid on your behalf.
When your mortgage company pays your property taxes for you, you are still responsible for:
- Applying for the home owner grant, and
- Any penalties that result from payment errors made by your mortgage company
