The Community Hub Project Advisory Committee and the Village of Lytton are looking for a Cultural Advisor to work with the group to incorporate Nlaka’pamux history, traditions, language and culture into the Community Hub project.

Location

The position will have access to the Village Office or can work remotely if preferred. The Village will provide systems and technology required for the role. 

The Village welcomes proposals from individuals, or groups of individuals to fill this role. The key is a deep connection to the local Indigenous community and an ability to reach in and connect when needed. 

Hours and compensation

This role will require irregular hours based on the phases of the project, meeting schedules, and work plan. 

The Cultural Advisor will be paid at a rate of $50 to $75 per hour, depending on experience. The role is expected to continue until construction is complete and the facility is ready to open, estimated to be March 2027.
