There are hard copies of the presentation and survey available at the Village Office at Aspen Planers Sawmill Site (formerly known as Lytton Lumber), just south of Lytton on Highway 1 (769 S- Trans Canada Hwy).

Next steps
Village staff will compile a summary of what we heard at the meeting and through the survey.
Staff will bring forward a Council report with recommendations for infrastructure grant applications.

Council is inviting community members from the Village of Lytton and surrounding areas to a community engagement session.
The purpose is to receive feedback on infrastructure needs for the Village.
This will help guide the Village's proposal to Infrastructure Canada on how to invest $64 million in funding committed to rebuilding public infrastructure for Lytton.
Who: All community members are welcome, including current and displaced residents of the Village of Lytton, Lytton First Nation, Skuppah, Siska, Kanaka, Nicomen, TNRD, and others

A community survey will be available after the meeting for community members, who are unable to attend in person.
Background
The Government of Canada has promised to invest $64 million to construct public infrastructure in the Village of Lytton. The Province of B.C. has also committed funding for rebuilding infrastructure.
Council has identified the following potential facilities:
- Village Office
- Fire Hall
- Library
- Pool / park
- Info / visitor centre
- Public washrooms with drinking water
- Public Works Building
- Farmers Market / Festival Space
- Museum
- Staff accommodation
The purposes of the community meeting are to:
- Get feedback about community priorities for infrastructure investments
- Identify any other items missing
- Discuss potential future needs (e.g., facilities or amenities to accommodate an aging population or attract families)
