Village Update
At the Regular Council Meeting on Tuesday, March 12, PacifiCan made a presentation about the Lytton Business Restart Program (Download the presentation).
During the meeting, Lytton Council:
- directed staff to prepare a Request for Proposals for experienced tourism professionals to prepare a tourism economic recovery plan, in conjunction with Destination BC - Vancouver Coast & Mountains;
- received a report on donations received by the Village of Lytton up to February 29, 2024;
- directed the disbursement of Hell or High Water donations of $16,573.01 to residents in Lytton who are rebuilding their primary residence and commence construction by December 31, 2024;
- received the March 12, 2024 Development Services activity report (Download the presentation);
- directed staff to relocate the donated ATCO trailer to 455 Fraser Street, where it can rented or used by Village staff or contractors; and
- directed staff to advertise a Request for Quotations for a new dump truck and front plow.

The next Regular Council Meeting is on Tuesday, March 26 at 7 p.m. at the Parish Hall and on Zoom. At that meeting, staff will present the draft 2024-2028 Five-Year Financial Plan to Council.
