Review Part 1 of the draft OCP and Community Hub pool layout at September 24, 2026 community open houses

The Village has scheduled two community open houses on Thursday, September 24, 2026 at the Parish Hall (140 7th Street):

  1. From 2 to 4 p.m. (including snacks), or 
  2. From 5 to 7 p.m. (including a light dinner).

Attend either of these community open houses to share your input on Part 1 of the draft Official Community Plan (OCP), including the preliminary Vision, Mission and Principles. This part of the draft document was shared at the September 8, 2026, Regular Council Meeting.

During the second open house from 5 to 7 p.m. you can also listen to a presentation about draft Community Hub pool layout. This was also shared at the September 8, 2026, Regular Council Meeting.

How to share your input on the draft OCP

Choose to:

  • Review the document online and complete the OCP feedback questionnaire (the documents will be posted later this week); or
  • Attend an OCP open house, ask questions of staff and complete the OCP feedback questionnaire at the meeting; or
  • Request hard copies of the draft summary or the draft document for review by emailing planning@lytton.ca or calling the Village Office at 250-455-2355. 

Other parts of the draft OCP document will be shared at upcoming Council meetings with open houses and feedback questionnaires to follow.

Review draft Community Hub pool layout at 5 p.m.

During the second open house at 5 p.m. staff will also be presenting the draft layout for the Community Hub pool. This is an opportunity to ask questions and share your input.
