Loring Way, Ponderosa and Kent, IR17, IR18 and the Village Town site
The Village of Lytton advises the public that Well #2 is out of service, therefore the Village has switched to Lytton Creek. The Village is in the process of completing UV system repairs therefore with the turbidity of Lytton Creek still trending high we are required to post a Boil Water Notice.
This notice affects all users, however, people with weakened or undeveloped immune systems are most at risk. This includes: elderly people, pregnant women and their unborn, children under the age of 2, people with AIDS, cancer, diabetes or kidney disease and people being treated with immune-suppressing medications. As a precautionary measure, water users are advised to bring water to a rolling boil for at least one minute before using it for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, food preparation, etc.
