Yellowhead Road & Bridge (Nicola) shared the following update at 4:45 p.m. today:
Good afternoon, we have traffic control stationed on Highway 1 at the junction of 1 & 8, and 1 & 12 due to the Boston Bar wildfire.
Only local traffic will be permitted down Highway 1 from these closure points at this time.
Commercial vehicles detour on Highway 97C.
We will provide updates as they come in.
