Through the Official Community Plan Update Community Conversations this year, one thing came through consistently: people don't want to stop at recovery. They want Lytton to come back more resilient than it was.
This raises key questions a Village of Lytton Economic Development Strategy has to answer:
- What does economic resilience actually look like here?
- How big does Lytton need to be to have it?
The Economic Development Strategy, which will be completed by December 2026, will establish a five-year action plan focussed on employment, business and investment, entrepreneurship, infrastructure and investment readiness, and opportunities for economic development collaboration.
