What is the PAC?

The Project Advisory Committee (PAC) is a group that was established as Special Committee of Council to provide advice on the Community Hub project and make sure that everyone in the Lytton area feels included in the project.

The PAC includes members from the surrounding First Nation communities, the Thompson-Nicola Regional District, and the Village of Lytton. Communities have appointed their representatives, who include some Band Council members and youth.

Read the terms of reference for the PAC.

What does the PAC advise on?

The PAAC has discussed issues so far, such as:

  • Pool operation planning
  • Community Hub components
  • Cultural Advisor requirements

The next items we expect the PAC to be involved with are an assessment of the Cultural Advisor candidates and participation in the selection of the architects for the Community Hub’s design.

Are meetings open to the public?
The PAC meetings are held in person in different communities and on Zoom, as needed. This is usually monthly.

Community members can watch the meetings on Zoom.
