Village Update
Mayor Denise O'Connor shared the following statement on the Tumbler Ridge tragedy:
To the community of Tumbler Ridge, our hearts are hurting with yours. Tuesday's events are truly unimaginable, and the grievous losses and trauma you have experienced are felt by us all. Please know that we are holding your community in our thoughts during this incredibly difficult time.
As a sign of solidarity and compassion for the victims of the Tumbler Ridge mass shooting, their families, and the community, the Village has lowered the flags to half-mast at Flag Park, along with the Royal Canadian Legion's flag.
