Public Notice is hereby given as follows:

List of registered electors

Beginning on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, until the close of general voting for the election on October 17, 2026, a copy of the list of registered electors will be available for public inspection, at the Village Office located at 769 Trans-Canada Highway, Lytton, BC, V0K 1Z0, during regular office hours from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. from Monday to Friday, excluding statutory holidays. 

Before inspecting the list, a person must sign a statement that they will not inspect the list, make copies, or use the information included in the list except for the purposes of Part 3 – Electors and Elections of the Local Government Act. 

Request to omit or obscure

An elector may request that their address or other personal information about them be omitted from or obscured on the list of electors.  The elector must contact the Chief Election Officer or the Deputy Election Officer to make this request by emailing elections@lytton.ca or calling 604-698-5753.

Objection to registration of an elector

An objection to the registration of a person whose name appears on the list of registered electors may be made in accordance with the Local Government Act until 4 p.m. on Friday, September 11, 2026. An objection must be in writing and an objection may only be made by a person entitled to be registered as an elector of the Village of Lytton and only on the basis that a person whose name appears on the list of electors has died or is not qualified to register as an elector of the Village of Lytton.
