The Village of Lytton is providing notice that a public hearing is not required for proposed Zoning Amendment Bylaw (Temporary Housing) 776, 2026 as the proposed bylaw is consistent with the Official Community Plan.
Council considered first reading of the proposed bylaw on March 24, 2026, On April 7, 2026, Council gave second reading to Zoning Amendment Bylaw (Temporary Housing) 776, 2026, as amended. The Zoning Amendment Bylaw will be considered for third reading at the Regular Village of Lytton Council Meeting scheduled for:

Location: Parish Hall located at 140 7th Street, Lytton, BC and online via Zoom
Proposed bylaw
Zoning Amendment Bylaw (Temporary Housing) No. 776 2026, as amended on April 7, 2026, proposes the following:
- Adds a definition of “recreational vehicle”
- Adds “Recreation Vehicle Use” to “General Regulations” whereby recreational vehicle use” shall be permitted as an Accessory Use if the property has a valid Building Permit all lands within the Village.
- Amends the following zones to permit the “recreation vehicle” in the RR, R1, R2, C1, C2 CE and P3 Zones subject to certain conditions detailed in the bylaw.
