Village Update
Thanks to everyone who attended the open houses on September 24, 2026, to review Part 1 of the draft Official Community Plan (OCP).
The draft document has drawn extensively from community outreach with some technical expertise and clarifications. The document also recognizes provincial legislation that governs local government community planning.
This section has been referred to staff and governments of Lytton First Nation, Skuppah Indian Band, Nicomen Indian Band, Kanaka Bar Indian Band, Siska Indian Band, Cooks Ferry Indian Band and the Nlaka’pamux Nation Tribal Council, and the Thompson–Nicola Regional District Electoral Area "I".

How to share your feedback:
- Review Part 1 of the draft document online or request to have the summary mailed to you or printed for you to pick up at the Village Office (Contact the Planning team at planning@lytton.ca or 778-554-7880 to request a copy).

Parts 2 and 3 of the draft OCP will be shared at upcoming Council meetings, which will be followed by community open houses.
