Village Update
This week, staff informed Council that the storage facility at 769 S Trans Canada Hwy is now ready to be used as the temporary Fire Hall.
Lytton Fire Rescue Service will move from their current location, where they are sharing space with BC Wildfire Service, to the temporary Fire Hall next to the Village Office. The Fire Department will use the new location for training and storage of their fire apparatus and equipment.
Thanks to the Village's Public Works team, Lytton Fire Rescue Service, volunteers, and donor agencies for work to get the temporary Fire Hall ready.
At the July 15 Community Meeting, staff shared updates on capital projects including planning to rebuild a permanent Fire Hall.
