Village Update
The Village welcomes input on the draft updated Official Community Plan, as we release each part of the document.
Part 1 of the draft updated Official Community Plan (including the preliminary Vision, Mission and Principles) was shared at the September 8, 2026, Regular Council Meeting.
How to share your input
You can choose to:
- Review the document online and complete the OCP feedback questionnaire (the documents will be posted later this week); or
- Attend an OCP open house, ask questions of staff and complete the OCP feedback questionnaire at the meeting; or
- Request hard copies of the draft summary or the draft document for review by emailing planning@lytton.ca or calling the Village Office at 250-455-2355.
Community open houses scheduled on September 24, 2026
You can attend a community open house on Thursday, September 24, 2026 at the Parish Hall (140 7th Street) to share your input on Part 1 of the draft OCP during one of these times:
- From 2 to 4 p.m. (including snacks), or
- From 5 to 7 p.m. (including a light dinner, as well as a short presentation and a chance to ask questions about the proposed Community Hub pool layout)
Other parts of the draft OCP document will be shared at upcoming Council meetings with open houses and feedback questionnaires to follow.
