    Join us for a hands-on, community-focused Emergency Preparedness Expo designed to help you learn, connect, and get prepared. This event is being hosted by the *TLKemchEEn FireSmart Collaborative.

    • Opportunities to learn more about personal emergency preparedness and FireSmart activities to protect your property and community
    • Vendor booths and displays featuring wildfire response and emergency preparedness equipment
    • Live demonstrations from emergency responders
    • Information on volunteering with Emergency Support Services and Lytton Fire & Rescue
    • Details on the Lytton Neighbourhood Emergency Preparedness Program
    • Kids’ activities hosted by BC Wildfire Service
    • Free lunch for all attendees

    About the TLKemchEEn FireSmart Collaborative

    The TLKemchEEn FireSmart Collaborative is a collaborative community working group of member organizations including Lytton First Nation, Village of Lytton, BC Wildfire Service, Thompson Nicola Regional District, Lytton Fire Rescue, BC Emergency Health Services and interested community members. 

    The Collaborative coordinates FireSmart activities for both the Village of Lytton and Lytton First Nation. The FireSmart program supports wildfire preparedness, prevention, and mitigation through public education, assessments, and mitigative work to reduce community risk from wildfires.
