Village Update
At the Committee of the Whole Meeting on May 5, 2026, Council:
- Received a Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) upgrade report (read the presentation) recommendations for initial and future upgrades based on a recent WWTP feasibility study; and
- Received a report about the site alteration review process, clarifying municipal requirements before development activities take place on any property (We will add this information to the Village’s website and the building permit checklist). If you're not aware of restrictions, archaeological requirements, permit requirements, or other site-specific conditions on your property, your project may be delayed. The site alteration review lets you check with the Village before you begin to help avoid potential delays.
