Water Notices and Updates
A planned full-day water shutdown will take place on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, on Fraser Street between 1st Street and 3rd Street. The shutdown is required to connect new watermains as part of the Village's water system upgrades.
This will affect properties on:
- Fraser Street between 1st Street and 3rd Street
- West Lane
Before the shutdown
Make sure you have an adequate supply of water stored for household use.
During the shutdown
There will be little to no water pressure. Please minimize water use during this time.
After water service is restored
You may notice:
- Discoloured water caused by disturbed sediment in the pipes
- Air in your plumbing
The water remains safe and has been disinfected. To clear any air or discolouration, run your cold water for several minutes.
