Village Update
Traffic closures will be occurring at the Highway 1 Nicomen project site starting Monday, April 15 and running through Friday, April 19.
These closures are required to install rebar cages in the new bridge north abutment piles.
- There will be a 1.5-hour highway closure of both westbound and eastbound directions.
- This 1.5-hour daily closure will occur between 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. on Monday, April 15 through Friday, April 19.
- Access to/from Nicomen River Road will be restricted to westbound exiting traffic only.
- An update will be provided on the afternoon of Thursday, April 18.
Note that outside of these specific closures, the previously communicated traffic conditions (single-lane traffic, occasional full highway traffic stoppages) apply.
