At the Regular Council Meeting on February 24, 2026, Council:

Approved the Community Hub schematic design (read the article below);

Received the February 2026 update on capital projects, including the Community Hub, Village Office, Fire Hall, and water and sewer infrastructure projects;

Received the Official Community Plan Update progress report, including a summary of workbook feedback;

Received the Economic Development progress report;

Received a letter from the Association of Farmers' Markets directing staff to write a letter to the BC Minister of Health showing the Village of Lytton's support for securing and expanding funding for the BC Farmers' Market Nutrition Coupon Program;

Received a letter about the True North Innovation Network, an exploratory, long-term framework for the Fraser–Thompson Corridor;

Released a resolution from the Special Closed Council Meeting on December 4, 2025, that Council direct staff to proceed with engaging a commercial pool contractor for construction of the Community Hub pool in partnership with a qualified builder, recommended as Blue Collar Modular, subject to confirmation from the federal funders.
