Village Update
At the Special Council Meeting on May 7, Council:
- authorized staff to negotiate a contract for the modular construction of the Public Works Building with Blue Collar Modular Housing Ltd.;
- directed staff to purchase a replacement plow and dump truck or to reissue a request for quotations to include a diesel or gas model with a delivery date before September 1, 2024;
- adopted the 2024 Annual Tax Rate Bylaw No. 749, 2024 (Download the 2024 tax rates);
- released a resolution from a closed meeting to authorize a contract with Darrell Axani, P. Eng, as the Village of Lytton Engineer to work on a part-time basis until December 31, 2024, to be paid from the Emergency Management and Climate Readiness grant of $21 million; and to add him to the Village's errors and omission insurance.
