Village Update

Before Christmas, the Village shared the Official Community Plan (OCP) Update Workbook with property owners and community members.

The Workbook is intended to:

  1. Review directions from the existing OCP’s vision, focus areas, and policies; and

  2. Invite input from the greater community about the relevancy of objectives and policy directions in the current OCP and priorities received through community outreach so far.

The Workbook, which is more detailed than a survey, will take around 20 to 30 minutes to complete and is due by January 30, 2026.

Everyone’s voice is valued.

The Village would like to hear from the greater Lytton community including property owners, residents, and business owners in the Village of Lytton, surrounding Nlaka’pamux communities and Thompson-Nicola Regional District.

There are several ways to fill out the Workbook either individually or with a group of family members, colleagues, or friends.

How to complete the Official Community Plan Workbook

  1. Workbooks received in the mail can be completed and dropped off at the Village Office or Parish Hall.
  2. Workbooks can be picked up at the Village Officer or Parish Hall.
  3. Workbooks are also available online: Print the workbook or complete the fillable PDF workbook and email it to planning@lytton.ca. to planning@lytton.ca
