Lytton Fire & Rescue will be conducting live fire training at the Old Mill site on Thursday, November 13 from 7 to 9 p.m. Smoke and flames may be visible from Highway 1 during this time.

Live fire exercises are an important part of training for Lytton’s volunteer firefighters. They give firefighters a chance to:

  • See how fire behaves in real conditions
  • Practice putting out fires safely
  • Build skills and confidence in a safe and controlled environment
