Village Update
The Village of Lytton shared last week that a judicial recount was required because there was a tie for the position of Mayor in the general location election on October 17, 2026. Denise O’Connor and Jennifer Thoss each received 45 votes.
Update
Last week Chief Election Officer Shannon Story applied to the Provincial Court for a judicial recount.
The application was accepted, and the judicial recount will take place on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at 3 p.m.
