During the Development Services update at the December 9, 2025, Regular Council Meeting, staff shared that they are continuing to review feedback from the first round of community engagement for the Official Community Plan Update. This includes feedback from the Farmers’ Market and Village Open House, the OCP Update Community Workshop and Walkshop in October, and emails and discussions with staff.
Next steps
Staff are developing a questionnaire/workbook to check in with community members about what we heard. This will help us to confirm the draft vision and policy directions for the updated Official Community Plan.
We will share the questionnaire/workbook with community members for input before Christmas or early in the new year.
