Boil water notice issued
Due to the wildfire, the Village of Lytton has issued a Boil Water Notice for the Village of Lytton, IR 17, IR 18 from June 19, 2026, until further notice. s a precautionary measure, water users are advised to bring water to a rolling boil for at least one minute before using it for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, food preparation, etc.

Evacuation Alert issued for residents in the Village of Lytton
There is an uncontrolled wildfire south of the Village of Lytton.
An EVACUATION ALERT has been issued for residents in the Village of Lytton.
There is no need evacuate at this time, but be prepared to do so on short notice if an evacuation order is issued.
If an evacuation order is issued, evacuees can report to the Lytton First Nation Battlefield Community Hall for shelter.
