Council Briefs
At the Regular Council Meeting on October 28, 2025, Council:
- Received the October 2025 update on capital projects including the Public Works Building, Village Office, Fire Hall, Community Hub, and water and sewer upgrades;
- Received the third quarterly report on corporate key performance indicators (to the end of September 30, 2025);
- Received a report on financial results to the end of September 30, 2025, comparing the actual results to the budget for the first nine months of this year;
- Received the 2025 interim housing strategy and approved several resolutions related to it (read the presentation);
- Adopted Council Procedure Amendment Bylaw No 772, 2025; and
- Received correspondence about the upcoming Nlaka'pamux Remembrance Day Traditional Pow-wow (November 7 to 9, 2025), and supported a donation of $1,000 from the Lytton Community Foundation – Health Trust Fund.
