At their Regular Council Meeting on January 13, 2026, Council:

Received a report on the 2026 budget timeline (see the timeline below);

Received an update from staff on Development Services activities, including building and planning inquiries and permits and the Village’s planning and development initiatives (Read the December 2025 Development Services activities report);

Approved TRUE Consulting to do a Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) feasibility assessment to be paid from the federal / provincial Investing in Community Infrastructure Projects sewer grant, and authorized the Chief Administrative Officer to sign the contract. The work will assess the WWTP’s current capacity, compare various treatment options, recommend the most suitable treatment option, and identify additional short-term improvements.
